FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Two sets of answers: how we work with candidates on assignments and placements, and how the text message program works.

Assignments & placements

6 questions

Does it cost me anything to apply or to be placed?

No. AlpineLeaf is paid by the employer who hires you. You are never charged a placement fee, a registration fee, a document fee or a training fee. If anyone claiming to represent us asks you for money, do not pay it — report it to us at [email protected].

What does "remote" mean on your listings?

It means the role is performed entirely away from a company site within the United States. Hybrid means a fixed number of days on-site, which is stated on the listing. On-site means you attend a named location every shift. We do not use "remote" loosely to mean "occasionally works from home".

How long does it take to hear back?

A coordinator reads every application and replies within three business days, including when the answer is no. If you have not heard from us in that window, email us and we will tell you exactly where your application stands.

Do you place part-time and full-time roles?

Yes, both, and the commitment is stated on every listing. Part-time roles typically run 20 to 30 hours a week. Some assignments are temporary with a defined end date; the listing will say so.

What do you need from me to get started?

A résumé or a short written summary of your experience, and your availability. If a role requires a background check or a specific certification, we tell you before you accept — never after.

What happens after I accept an offer?

Your coordinator confirms the start date, the site or remote arrangements, the pay rate and the reporting contact in writing. You have a named person to contact on your first day if anything is not as described.

Text messages

6 questions

How do I sign up for text message updates?

Go to the job alerts page and enter your mobile number. The consent checkbox is optional and starts unchecked — you can submit the form without agreeing to receive text messages, and doing so will not affect any application.

What kind of messages will I get, and how often?

Job opening alerts, application status updates, interview reminders and scheduling, new assignments and onboarding updates, and marketing and promotional messages about job opportunities. Message frequency varies.

How do I stop receiving messages?

Reply STOP to any message and you will receive no further messages from the program. Reply HELP for help. You can also email us and we will remove you manually.

Will you sell or share my mobile number?

No. We will not sell or share your mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. The full statement is in our Privacy Policy.

Is consent required to apply for a job?

No. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of applying for a role, of being placed, or of any purchase.

What does it cost?

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. We do not charge you for the messages themselves.
